Things to do locally…

There’s an amazing range of activities and things to do that are literally on your doorstep. Here are a few ideas.

Visit Durdle Door

Durdle Door

One of Britain’s most iconic pieces of coastline is literally a short walk away from our holiday homes.  Designated England’s first natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001, Durdle Door is part of a family of natural wonders including America’s Grand Canyon and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. It simply must be seen to be believed…

Cycle the Jurassic Coast

Cycle the Jurassic coast

The National Cycling Network links many of the towns and villages along the Jurassic Coast, so two wheels are the perfect way to explore the stunning countryside. Our partners at Weymouth Bicycle Hire will even deliver bikes direct to your holiday home as well as provide advice about the best local routes to explore.

Go on a kayak tour!

Kayak the coast

Our friends at Jurassic Coast Activities can organise a kayaking tour of the Jurassic coastline – simply the best way to get up close and personal with this World Heritage site. Expert guides will help you kayak safely and enjoyably through Durdle Door and alongside other stunning coastal landmarks. A great day out.
